Karen Morris, 81 year old Woodward resident, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Elmwood Cemetery with her son Reverend Ronnie Morris officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Karen Sue (Brown) Morris was born on November 18, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lewis Delmar and Thelma (Nelson) Brown. She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Wyandotte County High School. Karen worked as a Security Guard for several years. She also worked for Whirlpool and Atwoods.
She loved God, her family and her friends. Her faith was very important to her and her favorite bible verse was John 3:16. Karen enjoyed fishing and watching the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. She volunteered at the Senior Center for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Kari Robinson and husband Robert; two sons, Randy Morris and wife Dawn, Ronnie Morris; 11 grandchildren: Gabriel, Braylee, Rylee, Shaylee, Logan, Kylee, Kaitlyn, Cory, Holly, Sara, and Jaden; seven great-grandchildren: Oliver, Penelope, Chance, Andrew, Noah, Adalie, and Jaden; other relatives and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
