Cloeta E. Miller, 93 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, April 13, 2020 in Woodward. Private family graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Elmwood Cemetery with Ed Laird officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Cloeta E. (Fothergill) Miller was born on October 21, 1926 in Wichita, Kansas to Leonard Cyris (Mike) and Irma (Cory) Fothergill. Cloeta grew up in Mutual and Woodward and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Harold W. Miller on January 15, 1946 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They were blessed with two daughters, Vickie and Nita. They made their home in Woodward and she has lived here since that time.
She loved being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her daughters referred to her as #1 Mom. Cloeta also enjoyed crocheting and playing games with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Buie and husband Mike of Enid; four grandchildren: Angie Highfill, Rusti Geer, Wally Stillwell, and Jake Stillwell; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Cloeta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, daughter Nita Bowman in 2001 and six brothers and sisters.
