Rick L. Lamascus, 62 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, November 30, 2020 in Midwest City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Bible Baptist Church with Reverend Jessie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Masks are required at the service. The funeral will be broadcast live on the Billings Funeral Home website, www.billingsfuneralhomewoodward.com

Ricky Lynn Lamascus was born on May 14, 1958 in Ringling, Oklahoma to Vernon Lee and Dorothy Jean (Easterwood) Lamascus. Rick grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. He was united in marriage to Tammy Slawson on March 1, 1977 in Gainesville, Texas. They made their first home in Woodward and have lived here since that time. Rick worked as the Assistant Manager at Coca-Cola for 25 years, Harper Sanitation for seven years and he was currently working at the Woodward County Landfill for the past 14 years.

Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sitting on the back porch at home listening to his gospel music and drinking coffee. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He found great joy watching his grandkids play sports. He was their biggest fan. Rick loved his OU Sooners and was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins. Rick always had a smile on his face and always had to make people laugh no matter where he was. He had such a contagious laugh!! Rick was a Christian man that accepted the Lord as his Savior in 1980. He was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church. But Ricks most favorite thing in the world was his best friend and the love of his life of 43 years, Tammy.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Lamascus of Woodward; his wife , Tammy Lamascus of the home; two daughters: Kim Chavez and husband Noe of Woodward, Lacy ONeal and Trent Neagle of Woodward; five grandchildren: Zach and Zoee Chavez, Case and Cope ONeal, and Eden Neagle; two sisters: Ramona Daily and husband Kenny of Ardmore, Rhonda Dillon of Bartlesville; lots of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Lamascus, brother, Richard Lamascus, brother-in-law, Richard Louis Dillon, and mother-in-law, Betty Slawson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Baptist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
