Wilma Jean Hill

July 13, 1940 ~ April 29, 2020

Wilma Hill, 79 year old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Woodward. Private family Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery. Due to the order to restrict public gatherings to 10 people or less, the family ask that all rules and regulations be abided by. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Wilma Jean (Kimbrel) Hill was born on July 13, 1940 in Fort Supply, Oklahoma to Paul Thomas and Lola Frances (Thomas) Kimbrel. She was reared in Fort Supply and graduated from Fort Supply High School. Wilma was united in marriage to William (Bill) Hill on July 9, 1970 in Trinidad, Colorado. They made there first home in Sharon before later moving to Woodward. They were blessed with three children: Gary Don, Gayla Dawn, and Gina Denise.

Wilma worked as a book keeper and in retail. She worked for Western State Hospital, TG & Y, Bank of Woodward, and Walmart. She loved to spend time with her family and going on lunch dates with Bonnie Castor. She also enjoyed decorating for the holidays.

Wilma is survived by her son, Gary Hill of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters, Gayla Kinder and husband Chad of Arapaho, Oklahoma, Gina Gilbreath of McAlester, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Chelsea Hill, Becky Hobbs, Tyler Hill, Natalie Kinder, Carson Kinder, Camry Gilbreath, and Cady Gilbreath; six great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Hill, son, Kevin Hill, and brother, Tommy Kimbrel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
