Pat Hamon, 87 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in Oklahoma City. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Rickman officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Patricia Fay (Neill) Hamon was born on November 16, 1938 in Woodsboro, Texas to Archie and Ednairl (Allen) Neill. Pat grew up in Skidmore, Texas and graduated from Skidmore High School. She was united in marriage to Wendell Woodrow "Woody" Hamon on August 9, 1960 in Banderas, Texas. They were blessed with two children: Trey and Jana. They made their first home in Corpus Christi, Texas and later moved to Portland, Texas before settling in Woodward. Pat worked in banking and later worked at the High Plains Vo Tech as the Registrar for many years.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, helping with Meals on Wheels, and her church. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved and adored.
Pat was a member of the First Methodist Church and was very involved with PEO.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Woody Hamon; one son, Trey Hamon and wife Kellie; one daughter, Jana Sheets and husband Morrie; three grandchildren: Tate Hamon and wife Paige, Libby Sheets, Dani and Ali Alibadi; three great-grandchildren: Eris Sheets, Brooks Hamon, and Riley Hamon; other relatives and many friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her brother George Neill.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodward Hope Center with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
