Misty Jo Barnett Gray

June 29, 1973 ~ March 13, 2025

Misty (Barnett) Gray, 51 year old Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Misty Jo (Barnett) Gray was born on June 29, 1973 in Woodward, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Billy Murel and Lydia Mae (Aragon) Barnett. Misty grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1991. She worked for the Woodward Public Schools as a Paraprofessional working with children with special needs for many years.

She was united in marriage to Timothy Edward Ivan Gray on May 7, 2017 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward and have lived here since that time. Misty enjoyed fishing and camping, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Misty loved attending their ball games and she always loved getting together as a family.

She is survived by her husband Tim Gray of the home; her parents, Bill and Mae Barnett of Woodward; sons: Jerad Gonser, Blake Gray, Colton Gray; daughters: Jessica Brooks-Ricky and husband Tanner of Shawnee, Carmen Martin and husband Jacob of Alva; Azucena "Lilly" Gray of the home, Selena Ivie and husband Jacob; one brother, Shaun Barnett and wife Kim of Woodward; grandchildren: Jordyn, Cope, Amelia, Amiyah, Roman, Joshua, Aron, Audrey, Ava, Skyler, and Emma; other relatives and many friends.

Misty was preceded in death by her grandparents, Murel and Nellie Barnett, Ruth Maria Martinez, special cousin, Maria Phelps, son Austin Gray and grandson Rowan Thomas.
