Amanda Sue Goodman, 28 year old Woodward resident, died December 25, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident in Major County. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 in the First Assembly of God Church in Woodward with Reverend Brock Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Amanda Sue (Odell) Goodman was born on June 15, 1984 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Rebecca Jean Odell. The family lived in Lindsay until 1994 when they moved back to Woodward. Amanda graduated from Woodward High School in 2004. She attended UCO before transferring to Oklahoma State University where she earned her Business Degree. She was united in marriage to Justin David Goodman on April 18, 2009 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They were blessed with one daughter, McKinley Erin. They made their home in Woodward and have lived here since that time. Amanda worked at the Sonic Drive In throughout high school and college. She also worked briefly at Gordmans in Edmond and after her graduation from OSU she went to work at the Stock Exchange Bank.
Amanda loved spending time with her daughter and her husband Justin. She enjoyed watching OU and OSU football, the Thunder and having friends over for dinner and games.
Amanda is survived by her husband Justin Goodman; daughter McKinley Goodman; mother Rebecca Odell of Pauls Valley; brother Jason Odell and wife Tammy of Noble; sister Karri Odell of Pauls Valley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Kathi Goodman of Woodward; aunt Sue McCord and husband Jim of Poteau; uncle Charles Snipes and wife Pat of Woodward; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oscar and Betty Snipes.
