Pat Goodballet, 70 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 in the Woodward Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Nathan Twyman officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Patricia Ann Goodballet was born on December 15, 1947 in Okeene, Oklahoma the daughter of William Alfred and Pearl Anna (Straw) Maze. At a young age her family moved to Woodward, where Pat attended school and graduated from Woodward High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to Richard Eugene Goodballet on November 5, 1966 in Woodward. They made their home in Woodward. Pat and Richard also lived in Texas and Colorado before returning to Woodward. She attended and graduated from Okmulgee Technical Institute. She worked at various jobs including, babysitting, Ideal grocery store, as a cook at Mustang High School, the Woodward Senior Center, the Woodward School District as a bus driver/janitor and then began driving a semi for Freymiller with her husband Richard. She finished her career working for Red River Transport in 2014.
Pat loved her family and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, playing card games with her friends, bingo, and camping and fishing.
She was a member of the Red Hats, Home Extension, and Eastern Star.
Pat is survived by her husband Richard of the home; three daughters, Tina Ann Mayfield of Woodward; Dorothy Rene Lytle and husband Wayne of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Pearl Anna Underhill and husband Kenneth of Kingfisher; seven grandchildren, Sarah Elaine Locke; Coy Wayne Lytle; Dain Aaron Rittenhouse; Larry Joe Eugene Underhill; Waylon Eugene Lytle; Robert Duane Lytle; Robin Marie Underhill; two great-grandchildren, David Collin Locke, and Loralei Locke; brother, David Maze and wife JoAnne of Plano, Texas; two sisters, Shirley Trumbly and husband James of Midwest City; Barbara Jones of Midwest City; sister-in-law, Mary O’Hair and husband Dusty of Pond Creek; two brothers-in-law, Charles Goodballet and wife Jodi of Scottsdale, Arizona; Joseph Goodballet and wife Carol of Woodward; nieces, nephews other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to family with the funeral accepting the contributions.
