Virginia M. Johns Glover

Virginia Glover, 84 year old Woodward resident, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 in Vici. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Virginia M. (Johns) Glover was born on July 9, 1937 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Forest and Eva Maie (Campbell) Johns. She grew up in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School. Virginia was united in marriage to Lewis W. Glover on June 2, 1957 in Sharon, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Fort Worth, Texas before moving to Woodward.

She loved her family and loved spending time with them. Her and Lewis attended many square dances and they really enjoyed square dancing.

She is survived by one son, L. R. Glover and wife Barbara; one daughter, Tammy Aitson and husband Mike; three grandchildren, Shyla O’Dell, Danielle O’Dell, Anthony Glover; one sister, Opal Hall; one brother, Frank Johns; other relatives and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Lewis Glover, and one brother, Edward Johns.
