Patricia Ann Fuqua, 68 year old Woodward resident, died Friday, January 19, 2018 in Oklahoma City. A private family graveside was held at the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Patricia Ann (Ganaden) Fuqua was born January 3, 1950 in Highland Park, Michigan to Baltazar Paudua and Pearl (Watson) Ganaden. Pat grew up in Highland Park, Michigan and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Carl Ray Fuqua on November 7, 1992 in Newton, Kansas. They made their first home in Junction City, Kansas before moving to Woodward, Oklahoma.
She was a faithful member of the Woodward Church of the Nazarene. Pat loved going camping with her grandchildren, playing cards, puzzles, board games, and sewing. Her dogs, Toby and Tiger, her daughter and son-in-law, and her grandchildren gave her much joy in her life. One of her favorite things was traveling with her husband Carl until his passing.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Sue Dufresne and husband Terry of Michigan; three grandchildren, Bethany Anne Dufresne, Terry Allen Dufresne III, Craig Alexander Dufresne; three brothers, Leonard Ganaden and wife Melba, Robert Ganaden, Teddy Ganaden and wife JoAnne; one sister Felicia Ganaden; other relatives and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Ray Fuqua on May 9, 2017, one brother, Phillip Ganaden and a sister Barbara Woods.
