Robert Lawrence Friedland

Robert Friedland, 76 year old Woodward and Buffalo resident, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2024 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Robert Lawrence Friedland was born on December 15, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Phillip and Ethel (Levins) Friedland. Robert grew up in Wichita Falls until moving to Enid, Oklahoma. In 1982, he moved to Woodward and lived at the OARC. In 2017 he moved to the Western Skilled Nursing and Therapy in Buffalo

He enjoyed watching westerns, especially Bonanza and also loved watching his game shows and Dallas Cowboy football. He participated in the Special Olympics for many years.

He is survived by his close friend Ken Swenson and family; his family at OARC and Western Skilled Nursing and Therapy.
