GEORGETTE FOWLER

November 7, 1944 - October 15, 2017

Georgette Fowler, 72 year old Fort Supply resident, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jesse Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Frances Georgette (Luinstra) Fowler was born on November 7, 1944 in New Boston, Texas to Tiny Fritz and Lillie (Bryant) Luinstra. Georgette grew up in Woodward and attended Tangier and Woodward schools. She graduated from Woodward High School.

She was united in marriage to Daniel Fowler on January 1, 1982 in Woodward, Oklahoma. Georgette worked for the Jack & Jill Grocery Store for several years in Buffalo, before going to work for Western State Hospital, which is now known as Northwest Center for Behavioral Health, from 1995 until 2012.

Georgette enjoyed playing in the rain, dancing, gardening, cooking, camping, fishing, and vacationing on motorcycles. She loved being with her family and being outside.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Fowler of the home; three sons: Jay Baggs of Buffalo, Lonnie Baggs and wife Heather of Woodward, Danny Fowler and wife Amy of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma; two daughters: Katina Fletcher and husband Mark of Goddard, Kansas, Lannette Chance and husband Sean of Runge, Texas; two brothers, Floyd Luinstra of Stillwater, Wilbur Luinstra of Argonia, Kansas; one sister, Louise Stephenson and husband Kirk of Webb, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tiny and Lillie Luinstra.
