Bill Foresman, 82 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Shattuck. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Bill Ray Foresman was born on March 31, 1943 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Nylund George and Zella Emma (Sharkey) Foresman. Bill grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Jean Goin on August 1, 1992 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Laverne before moving back to Woodward.
He worked in the Pipeline Industry as a Supervisor for many years until his retirement. Bill enjoyed hunting, reloading ammo, collecting guns and watching Gunsmoke. Bill went on 19 Elk hunting trips to Chama, New Mexico with friends and he loved going to his friends house every Wednesday to trade guns.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Foresman of the home; two sons, Ray Foresman and wife Melissa of Laverne, Dean Hughes and wife Elaine of Topeka, Kansas; two daughters, Chandra Renee Angelov of Yukon, Staci Cluts and husband Damon of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren: Shane Foresman, Brandon Varnell, Shaden Foresman, Nicholas Foresman, Lourin Dos Santos, Luke Cluts, Cameron Hughes, Haley Brewster, Sage Martinez, Simeon Angelove, Charlie Angelove; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Zella Creech, father, Nylund Foresman, son Brett Ladd sisters Janet Allen, and Jane Lewis.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Center with the funeral home accepting the donations.
