Dean Dietrich, 46 year old Woodward resident, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Goin officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Dean Duane Dietrich was born on May 6, 1974 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Lonny Charles and Joanne (Ziel) Dietrich. Dean attended kindergarten and first grade in Wisconsin before the family moved to Woodward when Dean was in the second grade. He attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School in 1993. Dean went to work for Goin's Home Furnishings in 1990 when he was 16 years of age. He worked his way up to Manager and was still working there at the time of his death. He helped a lot of people over the years and will be missed by all.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew Jack Duane. Dean loved watching the Chicago Cubs.
He is survived by his mom, Joanne Penix and her husband John of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one sister Jodi Keith and husband Ricky of Amarillo, Texas; nephew, Jack Duane Keith of Amarillo, Texas; his four legged companion, Alex; other relatives and many friends.
Dean was preceded in death by his dad, Lonny Dietrich who died on February 2, 2018.
