Dixie Ruth Jasperson Christman

November 7, 1952 ~ December 8, 2018

Dixie Chrisman, 66 year old Vici resident and former Woodward resident, died Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Vici. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shannon Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Dixie Ruth (Jasperson) Chrisman was born on November 7, 1952 in Provo, Utah to Darwin and Margeretta (Kinsey) Jasperson. Dixie grew up in Provo and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Chrisman on April 14, 1975 in Ely, Nevada. They made their first home in Provo, Utah. The family lived in different towns including, Bakersfield, California, Great Bend, Kansas. They moved to Woodward in 1996 and later moved to Vici in 2009, where they have lived since that time.

She was a Para Professional in the school system in Bakersfield, California. She loved arts and crafts, traveling, fishing, and she was a collector of all things Koala. Most of all Dixie loved being with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Chrisman; one son, Eli Chrisman and wife Kayla of Cordell; two brothers: Ron Jasperson and wife Kathy of Rhode Island, Steve Jasperson and wife Becky of Pleasant Grove, Utah; four grandchildren: Dylan, Tiffany, Jaxon, and Avery; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Eric Roy Chrisman on July 24, 1999, one daughter Amanda Jo Ann Chrisman on February 29, 2000, one sister and one brother.
