Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 - St. Peters Catholic Church

Maria Ceniceros, 77 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Alliance Health Woodward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Reverend Joe Arledge officiating. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Burial will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery.

Maria del Socorro Ceniceros was born on July 22, 1939 in Atotonilco, Nievez Zacatecas, Mexico to Aristeo and Esther (lira) Ceniceros. She grew up in Atotonilco Nievez Zacatecas. She attended school at Francisco Javier Clavijejo. Maria was united in marriage to Ernesto Ceniceros Castaneda.

Maria was a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She loved cooking and most of all being with her family, who she loved dearly.

She is survived by her sons: J. Felix Ceniceros and wife Elizabeth of Buffalo, Ernesto Martin Ceniceros of Woodward, Gerardo Antonio Ceniceros of Woodward; daughters, Manuela Ceniceros of Mexico, Ana Maria Ceniceros of Perryton, Texas, Hibone Josefina Ceniceros of Mexico; five grandchildren, Adan Ceniceros, Bronco Ceniceros, Felix Junior Ceniceros, Gerardo Ceniceros, and Anahi Elizabeth Ceniceros; three great-grandchildren, Isaac Adrian Ceniceros, Christopher Ceniceros, Analee Elizabeth Ceniceros; numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter and six brothers.
