Woodward, Okla. — Jeffrey Leonard Bynum, 42, of Stephenville, Texas, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at his residence. Local Services will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howard Martin officiating. Services with interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011, at Faith United Methodist Church, Woodward, Oklahoma, with Rev. Aaron Martin officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas, and Billings Funeral Home, Woodward, Oklahoma. Jeff was born on July 23, 1968, to Rex Leonard Bynum and Glenda Rae (Butcher) Bynum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1986 and OSU Tech in 1988. He was employed by Pioneer Cellular Telephone in Woodward, Oklahoma, and moved to Stephenville, Texas, in 2000, to work for Dobson Communication which became AT & T.
Survivors include his mother, Glenda Bynum of Kirtland, New Mexico; his father, Rex Bynum and wife, Rita, of Eufaula, Oklahoma; his brother, David Bynum and wife, Jordana, of El Reno, Oklahoma; his sister, Terry Bynum of Kirtland, New Mexico; his half-brother, James Bynum of Holdenville, Oklahoma; nieces, Allison Meyers and Amy Bynum; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
