Lacey Nichole Buffington, 38 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Lacey Nichole Buffington was born on June 18, 1982 in Woodward, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Kelly (Buffington) Halper. She grew up in Woodward and Ponca City and attended Woodward schools.
She enjoyed cooking, singing and most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
She is survived by her mother, Kelly Halper of Ponca City; son, Cashtin Buffington; daughter, Brielle Jamison; one brother Bryce Halper and wife Sydney of Woodward; grandparents, William and Evelyn Buffington of Ponca City; step-father, Shawn Halper of Woodward; aunts and uncles: Eugene Buffington of Enid, Shannon Riff and boyfriend Kenney Hamilton of Sharon, Stephanie Baker and husband Tracy of Ponca City, Lori Marvel and husband Jeremiah of Woodward, Elisha Patee and husband Chris of Weatherford,; Lacey’s best friend, Mary Ann Wilson and husband Brian of Woodward; nieces: Ashlyn Halper, Olive Halper; nephews: Preston Wilson, Jace Wilson; great uncles and great aunts: Jerry and Ann Belew of Yukon, Tom and Dorma Gribble of Blanchard, Coleta Bohn of Woodward; many, many cousins and a great deal of friends.
Lacey was preceded in death by her brother, Cody Austin Bird.
Memorial contributions may be made to the WOOF Pet Rescue with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
