Donna Bradt, 89 year old Woodward resident, passed away Sunday May 12, 2024 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the First Assembly of God Church in Woodward. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Donna Charlene Bradt was born May 14, 1934 in Vici, Oklahoma to Hugh Felix and Laurene Josephine (Mackey) Tunis. Donna grew up in Garber and attended and graduated from Garber High School. She attended Enid Business School. She was united in marriage to Everette Austin in Garber, Oklahoma. They made their home in Garber and were blessed with two daughters: Joetta and Dawn. Following the breakup of their marriage, Donna and daughters traveled between Washington, Oregon, California, and Oklahoma in ministry. In 1965 they returned to Enid.
In 1977 Donna met Russel D. Bradt and on August 13, 1977 they were united in marriage. They made their home north of Woodward on a ranch near Selman. She worked on the ranch for 56 years and at the Buffalo Schools before her retirement. Donna and Russel moved to Woodward in 1999.
Donna was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church for over 50 years where she played the piano and taught Sunday School. Donna was very devoted to her church and God.
She is survived by her husband Russel Bradt of the home; two daughters: Joetta Herrick and husband Herb of Montesano, Washington, Dawn Benson and husband Mike of Arlington, Texas; step-son, Tom Bradt and wife Terry of Fargo; step-daughter, Rhonda Roddrick and husband Brett of Itasca, Texas; grandchildren: Bryan Herrick and wife Tonya, Dawn Nichole Delmark and husband Jon, Chad Benson and wife Amber, Krista Sanseverino and husband Shawn; numerous step grandchildren, great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, a step-son Darrel Bradt and grandson Bryce Alan Herrick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
