Rhonda Pauline Root Berry

Rhonda Berry, 62 year old Woodward resident, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025 at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Rhonda Pauline (Root) Berry was born on October 21, 1962 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Jerry Allen and Ada Bertalee (Begley) Root. Rhonda grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. She was united in marriage to Gerald Berry.

She worked as a Dog Groomer for many years. She also worked in a veterinary clinic. Rhonda enjoyed caring for her dogs, playing video games, and watching horse and monkey videos. Rhonda loved cruisin town in her mobility chair, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a people person who loved animals and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her mother Ada Root; one daughter Carissa Estes and husband Keith; two grandsons: Izaak and Ethan Estes; two sisters: Annette Baynes, Sherri Root; other relatives and many friends.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her two sons, Cory Nathan Smith and Travis Jerry McAdoo and her father Jerry Allen Root.

Memorial contributions may be made to WOOF Pet Rescue with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
