Barbara Ann Beach

December 18, 1940 ~ October 20, 2019

Barbara Beach, 78 year old former Woodward resident, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church with George and Linda Hammans officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Billings Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Barbara Ann (Begley) Beach was born on December 18, 1940 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Raymond Lewis and Dorothy Anna (Bull) Begley. She grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. Barbara was united in marriage to Alva Lyman Beach on April 12, 1980 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward.

She was a long time member of the Light House Full Gospel Assembly in Gage. She loved spending time with her family and singing gospel songs with her husband and sister Ada. Barbara loved to perform and share the Gospel with others.

She is survived by her husband Alva Beach of the home; one son, Robert Burdette and wife Misty; one daughter Priscilla Jones and husband Chuck; seven grandchildren: Candyce and Trenton Kidd, Cynthia and Greg Carson, Cody Burdette, Michael Icke and Sarah Demer, Derek Jones, Jason Jones, Jeremey and Amber Penley; great-grandchildren: Devon Hutcheson, Damon Hutcheson, Thannual Kidd, Trenton Kidd Jr, Tallee Kidd, Kaylee Penley, Jayden Carson, and Logan Patterson; step-daughter, Debbie Matherley and fiancee Thomas; daughter-in-law, Sandy Dee Warmoth; step-grandchildren: Tracie Brewer, Travis Beach, Jesse Matherley; step great-granddaughter, Madison Beach; sisters: Sandra Razien Morris and Loran; Ada Root; other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Raymond Begley, son, Alva Beach Jr, grandchild Kaleb Hutcheson and great-nephew Cory Smith.
