Woodward – Graveside services for Joe Lee Austin, 44, will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. James Steenbergen officiating. Services are under direction of Zwanziger – Stecher Funeral Home.
He was born August 5, 1950, to John and Nellie Austin at Oklahoma City and died Friday, February 10, 1995, at Woodward. He worked for many years as an aircraft technician until his health got bad.
Surviving are one son, Lonnie Joe Austin of Tulsa; a daughter, Andra M. Austin of Antlers; his mother, Nellie Austin of Oklahoma City; four brothers, James Rose of Wellston, Carl Rose, Johnny and Aaron Austin, all of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Juanita Pruitt of Woodward, Annetta Rose and Lillian Thompson, both of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
