JANET KAY FORESMAN ALLEN

October 24, 1946 - April 21, 2018

Janet's Story

Janet (Foresman) Allen, 71 year old Woodward resident died Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Woodward. Graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 4, 2018 in Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Janet Kay (Foresman) Allen was born on October 24, 1946 in Woodward, Oklahoma the daughter of Nylund George and Zella Emma (Sharkey) Foresman. Janet attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School. She was united in marriage to Larry Null, they made their home in San Francisco, California. To this union one son, Lenny Null was born. Janet also live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She worked as a bookkeeper for a lumber company, and as an office manager of an insurance company. She later returned to Woodward to be near her family.

She enjoyed spending time sewing, traveling, and going to old west re-enactments. Janet was beloved by her nieces and nephews who considered her to be the fun aunt. She was loved by her family and was known as the best story teller because most of the stories she told were true. Spending time with her family, her four little dogs, and being a loving companion to her mother is what gave Janet the most joy. She lived her life full of love and adventure. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Janet attended the Thousand Hills Ranch Church.

She is survived by brothers, Bill Foresman and wife Carolyn of Woodward; Scott Foresman and wife Kim of Cedar Hill, Texas; sisters, Shana Bejarano and husband Robert of Los Cruces, New Mexico; Nila Hough and husband Fred of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her son, Lenny Null; mother, Zella Creech; father, Nylund Foresman; sister, Jane Lewis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the WOOF Pet Rescue with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
