ENID - Funeral service for Donald Lee Haub, age 70, will be today, May 22, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Carl Roberts and Rev Ron Graber will officiate. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery , Chester , OK.
Donald was born February 2, 1940, in Mooreland, OK to Jack W. and Clara Alvina Coulter Haub and died May 19, 2010, at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. He was raised in Chester and Mutual area and attended school in Mutual. His senior year he moved to Sharon, KS and attended his senior year there. He attended one semester at NOC in Tonkawa. He grew up in, and attended, the Elm Grove Assembly of God. He attended the Harvest Time Church in Enid.
He worked in road construction for five years. He married Pauleta Liles on May 22, 1960, in Cooperton, OK. He owned Enid Fabricators, Enid Manufacturing and co-owned H&B Trucking.
Survivors include Pauleta; two sons, Greg Haub and wife Lisa of Douglas. OK; Gary Haub and wife Wendy of Montgomery, TX; two daughters, Gina Haub and Craig Murry of Van Vleck, TX and Ginger Spady and husband Richard of Montgomery, TX; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Fred Haub of Ponca City, OK; Larry Haub of Yukon, OK; Bob Haub of Woodward, OK and Jack Haub of Canton, OK; and one sister, Carol Sue Bayless of Arnett, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother, one grandson and one son-in-law.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Cancer Division or Harvest Time Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com.
