ROENNA MARIE GREGERSEN was born on September 6, 1947 in Woodward, OK to John Henry and Edra Lois (Patterson) Shuck. Roenna died Monday morning, August 29, 2016 in Oklahoma City after a long illness at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 23 days.
Roenna attended school in Oklahoma City, graduating from Crooked Oak High School with the class of 1965. She was united in marriage to Richard Wayne “R.W.” Gregersen on August 1, 1972 in El Reno, OK, a union of 33 years until his passing in 2006. The couple made their home in Oklahoma City, where Roenna worked as a caterer and cake decorator while R.W. drove trucks for Borden Dairy, Oens Sausage, and NuWay Dry Cleaning. They attended Christ Legacy Church in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her father John Shuck, husband R.W. Gregersen, and a brother James Shuck.
Roenna is survived by her mother Edra Shuck of Yukon, sisters Linda Cooper and husband Walter of Newalla, OK and Barbara Shuck of Midwest City; brother Johnny Shuck of Yukon; nieces Rana Shelton and husband Paul of Yukon, and Amie Ennis and husband Mike of Killeen, TX; nephews John Shuck and wife Lindsey of Midwest City, Patrick Stacks of Navasota, TX, and Michael Cooper of Oklahoma City; as well as many great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral Services for Roenna will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Elm Grove Community Church in Chester, OK. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery.
Memorial Donations in Roenna’s honor may be made out to Elm Grove Cemetery and mailed to Redinger Funeral Home, Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663.
