Virginia Yvonne Miller Wreath, 74 year old Mutual, OK resident passed on May 5, 2019 at the Woodward Hospital. She was born on November 8, 1944 to Walter and Wilma Irene (Farnsworth) Miller in Glazier, TX. Yvonne went to Bishop Grade School and Woodward High School graduating with the Class of 1963. The family lived at Lake Vincent Ranch until she was 15 years old. After her dads passing, they moved to Woodward, OK and she resided there until marriage.
On April 14, 1963 Yvonne married Harlan Leroy Wreath at the Mutual Methodist Church. They were blessed with four daughters and one son Yvonda, Yulonda, Yutina, Yutanya and Roy Lee. In 1972 the family moved to Mutual, where they were blessed with grandma Griffith’s homestead. Yvonne worked at England Grocery & Market as a meat cutter, Vici Nursing Home as a cook, Sharon-Mutual High School as a cook and a homemaker as well.
In Yvonne’s spare time she enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning and gardening. She most of all loved spending time with her children and grandkids.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her father Walter Miller, husband Leroy Wreath, step-father Ray Holman, brother Vernon Miller, dearest grandmother Mary Griffith, niece Jennie Miller, nephew Mark Miller, sister-in-law Rhonda Morris and two son-in-laws Doyle Daniels and Salvadore Valenciana.
Those remaining to honor her memories include her mother Wilma Holman of Shattuck, OK; four daughters Yvonda Chapman and husband Sonny of Sharon, OK, Yulonda Merry and husband Mike of Woodward, OK, Yutina Daniels of Mooreland, OK and Yutanya Martinez and husband Paul of Shattuck, OK; one son Roy Lee Wreath and wife Reta of Shawnee, OK; brother-in-law Jr. Wreath and wife Candy of Sharon, OK; sister-in-laws Dava Carter and husband Allen of Seiling, OK, Susan Griffith and husband Ray of Seiling, OK and Sandy Miller of Weatherford, OK; step-sister Candy Hudgeons and husband Kenneth of Dove Creek, CO; step-brother J.R. Holman; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen and half great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
