Deceased: Ruth Turner Tatro, 85, Alva
Funeral services will be at the Wharton Funeral Chapel May 25 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Larry Haney, pastor, Alva First Christian Church, officiating. Interment follows in the Waynoka Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tatro was preceded in death by a stepson, Lester Price Turner Jr. who was killed in WW II at Okinawa in June of 1945; her parents; a sister, Alice Lorane Wright on Oct. 8, 1976; and four brothers, Ralph, Clinton, Guy and Leslie Knight.
Ruth is survived by her daughter and her husband, Vicki and Chuck of Chandler, Ariz.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Venesa and Keith Gooch of Tulsa and Daren and Leann Rhodes of Tucson, Ariz.; four great-grandchildren, Tegan and Lexie Rhodes and Tobi and Tyler Gooch; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
