Deceased: Dorothy M. Richardson, 76, Alva

Dorothy M. Richardson, 76, daughter of the late Estel Sylvester and Cecile Maxine (Whitney) Haltom, was born October 15, 1927, in Oklahoma City, and passed away December 3, 2003, at Share Medical Center in Alva.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Randall Lee Richardson and Forest Richardson.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Albert "Bud" Richardson, of Hopeton; one son, Benny Eugene and his wife, Beth of Midwest City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Sheryl Lynn and her husband, Garett Grigsby, of Attica, Kansas, Adam Lee Richardson and his wife, Angela, of Powell, Wyoming, and Duane Leroy Richardson and his fiance, Stephanie of Carmen; four great grandchildren, Morgan Elaine and Doss Colton Grigsby and Colby James and Mattie Rose Richardson; two step-great grandchildren, Bryce and Jaden Wolgamott; two sisters Leatrice Chelf and her husband, Gene, of Alva, and Ava Zook and her husband, Richard, of Waynoka; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003, at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Father Shane Tharp officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
