Waynoka Cemetery


ENID — Funeral service for Janice Eileen Clemence Riboni will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at First Church of God, Waynoka. The Rev. Ken Higgins officiating. Internment will follow in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

Janice, daughter of Esther Woolley Clemence and the late Clyde Franklin Clemence, was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Waynoka, Okla. She left this life Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 13 days.

Janice had a passion for life and people. She often enjoyed reminiscing about fun and special times with her childhood friends. She was active during her school days with cheerleading, attending dances, debates and speech competitions. Among her many interests were Bible study, jewelry design and fashion.

Her relationship with God instructed her life. She reached out to others in love through testimony, gift giving, prayers and encouragement, always generating happiness and laughter. She contributed to her community through years of service as a business woman.

She is survived by her mother, Esther Clemence of Waynoka; brother, Eldon and wife Norma Clemence of Garden City, Kan.; her daughters, Lanas Long of Waynoka and Lajan Taylor of Galena, Mo.; grandson, Hanson Del-Ray Long of Waynoka; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through Marshall Funeral Home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research.
