January 20, 1909 - December 20, 1997

Waynoka – Mass of Christian Burial for Maria Inez Francisca Ramirez, 88, will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday in the First Baptist Church at Waynoka. Dave Imming will be celebrant. Burial will be in Waynoka Cemetery under direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

She was born January 20, 1909, in El Rodeo, Mexico, to Anacleto and Maria González Zarate and died Saturday, December 20, 1997, at the Alva Share Medical Center.

On April 28, 1924, she married Benceledo "Ben" Ramirez in Sacred Heart Church, Alva. They lived in Waynoka. She was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Church.

Surviving are one son, Paul of Tulsa; six daughters, Aurora Mancillas of Olatha, Kansas, Beatrice Valencia of Waynoka, Cathy Ramirez of Wichita, Kansas, Patra Simmons of Oklahoma City, Grable Ford of Lafayette, Indiana, and Mary Lou Bybee of Amarillo, Texas; 24 grandchildren; 39 great – grandchildren; and five great – great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Emergency Medical Technicians.
