Waynoka Cemetery


The funeral for Linda Sue Penner, 67, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Waynoka First United Methodist Church. Pastor Marvin Stuckey will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka LLC.

She was born May 21, 1940, in Cleo Springs to Eldred Alanson and Eula Mae Devilbiss Pierce and died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, in Tulsa.

She graduated from Waynoka High School and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She then attended beauty school and worked as a beautician most of her life. She moved from Waynoka to Enid in 1981, and to Oologah in 1997. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly Sue Cooper of Oologah; nine brothers and sisters, Gene Pierce of Napa, Calif., Karol Pierce of Baltimore, Ohio, Dixie Stinson of Norman, Ross Pierce of Enid, Collin Pierce of Freedom, Larry Pierce of Yukon, Garry Pierce of Collinsville, Eula Augustin of Nashville, Tenn., and Merle Marrow of Tulsa; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society.
