The funeral for Floyd Albert Kysar, 80, will be 2 p.m. today at Waynoka First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Marvin Stuckey will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka. The casket will be open until 12:30 p.m. today at the funeral home but will not be open at the church.
He was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Waynoka to Fletcher Derr and Bessie Juanita Wilson Kysar and died Saturday, April 14, 2007, in Bristow.
He graduated from Waynoka High School and enlisted in the Navy. He married Bonnie Lee Browning in October 1948 in Mooreland. He worked as an engineer for Santa Fe Railroad for many years.
He was a member of Waynoka First United Methodist Church and a 32nd degree member of Waynoka Masonic Lodge No. 422 and Scottish Rite Consistory.
Surviving are three sons, Randy Kysar of Wichita, Kan., Rick Kysar of Garden City, Kan., and Larry Kysar of Bristow; three brothers, J.D. Kysar of Waynoka, Sam Kysar of Bethany and Danny Strohmeyer of Waynoka; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, on Feb. 7, 2003.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Heart Association.
