Funeral services for Yvonne Alcestus Ferguson will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2007, at the Elm and Murrow Church of Christ with Ray Hull officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC.
Yvonne Alcestus Ferguson, daughter of the late Robert Arealish and Myrtle Elizabeth (Hullet) Cropp, was born May 26, 1924, on the farm near Avard in Woods County, Okla., and passed away at the Waynoka Nursing Center.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Casey; two infant brothers, Dennis and Robert; and one brother, Dean Cropp.
Yvonne is survived by two sisters, Gail Doblar of Waynoka and Deloris Billington and her husband, Junior, of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Diabetes research.
