Graveside services for Gerald Lyle Davis, age 87 years, of Enid, are 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Waynoka Cemetery. Pastor Ray Rose will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, Enid, Oklahoma. Gerald passed away, Friday, December 11, 2015 in Enid.
Gerald was born September 17, 1928 in Fargo, Oklahoma to Lamont Davis and Geraldine (Smith) Davis. He graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1948. He married Darlene Wickham on August 8, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas. They had one daughter, Denise (Davis) Wright on June 6, 1957.
Gerald worked distributing magazines in Wichita, Kansas until he transferred to the Enid area where they made their home. He then worked in real estate as an agent for Century 21, and was also working to obtain his contractor’s license. He built homes in the Quail Creek addition in Enid. Gerald enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. He spent many summers traveling to New Mexico with his family and his granddaughters. He loved to have family cookouts and played an active part in the lives of his great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lamont and Geraldine, and a sister, Betty Gouldan.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Darlene, of Enid; daughter, Denise Wright and husband Bruce of Enid; one sister, Mary Otey and husband Bill, of Little Rock, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Wendy Fortner and husband Terry, of Enid; Deann Moulton and husband Robin, of Del City, Oklahoma; great-grandson Marek Tooman and great-granddaughter, Phoebe Tooman of Enid; two step great-grandsons, Leslie and Zachary Fortner, of Enid, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gerald’s name to the charity of choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Graveside services for Darlene Davis, age 82 years, of Enid, are 10:00 am, Monday, February 15, 2016 at Waynoka Cemetery with the Mr. Ray Rose officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Darlene was born in Waynoka, Oklahoma on March 27, 1933 to Leon Wickham and Lula Pearl (Wanzer) Wickham, and passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Darlene attended Waynoka Public Schools. Following graduation she attended beauty school and obtained her beautician’s license. She married Gerald Lyle Davis on August 8, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas. They had one daughter, Denise (Davis) Wright on June 6, 1957. In 1966, when Gerald was transferred to Enid for work, Darlene began working at Enid State School, (NORCE), where she worked for 24 years until retiring.
Darlene spent many summers traveling to New Mexico with Gerald and her granddaughters. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and baking cookies, which was the activity she missed the most once her health declined. Her greatest joy however, was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Lula Pearl Wickham, husband Gerald Lyle Davis, and a brother Charles “Bud” Wickham.
Darlene is survived by one daughter, Denise Wright and husband Bruce, of Enid; two granddaughters, Wendy Fortner and husband Terry, of Enid; Deann Moulton and husband Robin, of Del-City, Ok; great-granddaughter Phoebe Darlene Tooman, great-grandson Marek Wayne Tooman, and soon to arrive in March, great-granddaughter Gemma Layne Fortner, all of Enid; two step-grandchildren, Leslie Layne and Zachary Layne Fortner, both of Enid, two sisters, Mary Phipps and Betty Eden, both of Enid.
