The funeral for Naomi Laverne Callaway, 94, of Waynoka, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Waynoka First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Marvin Stuckey will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.
She was born in 1912, in Woods County, to William and Rosa Keene Hutchison and died Thursday, April 6, 2006, in Waynoka.
She married James G. Callaway in 1931. They made their home north of Quinlan where they farmed and ranched. They moved to Presho, S. D., in 1952, where they farmed, ranched and operated a restaurant. They moved to Arizona in 1983. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, J.D. Callaway of Brookshire, Texas; two daughters, Naomi Kay Boe of Fort Pierre, S. D., and Yvetta Iverson of Wickenburg, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by one daughter, seven brothers, five sisters and two great-granddaughters.
