The funeral for Eddie Leon Bell, 62, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Waynoka. The Rev. David Shaw will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka, LLC.
He was born June 27, 1947, in Coweta to Elvie Allison and Lorraine Peppers Bell Baldridge and died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, in Alva.
He attended Waynoka schools then entered the Army, where he received his GED.
He married Terri Lynn Chandler March 21, 1978, in Tulsa.
He worked as a truck driver for a time before beginning a career in law enforcement. He worked at Waynoka Police Department, then Oilton, Creek County and Sperry before his retirement.
He was a member of Metro Faith Christian Church, Tulsa.
Surviving are his wife, Terri, of Waynoka; one son, Eddie Bell Jr. of Tulsa; three daughters, Kathy Bell and Ellie Waggoner, both of Tulsa, and Janiece Bell of Waynoka; one sister, Janie Cunningham of Waynoka; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
