Isla Maxine Bay, 88, Waynoka
Isla Maxine Bay, 88, daughter of Otis Hudson Smith and Anna Ellen Campbell Smith, was born near Carmen, Alfalfa County, Okla., on July 14, 1916, and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, in Edmond.
After sixty years of marriage, her husband Elmer preceded her in death on July 13, 1997. In addition, she was predeceased by her three older brothers, Vaughn in June 1973; Garnett in January 1983, and Elvin in April 1995.
Isla is survived by one daughter, Deana Joyce Case and her husband Larry of Edmond; two grandsons, Scott Case and his wife Connie of Suwanee, Ga., and Jason Case and his wife Beth of Edmond; six great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyler, Kody and Kallie Case of Suwanee, Ga.; Mason and Chloe Case of Edmond; one sister, Eula Faye Lewis and her husband Raymond of Guymon; her sister-in-law, Goldie Bay of Hereford, Texas; and many beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Northside Church of Christ with Mike Marsalis officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka and Baggerly
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Northside Church of Christ or Waynoka Meals-on-Wheels.
