Waynoka – Graveside services for Keith Anderson, 79, will be at 2 PM Friday in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. David Shaw, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Anderson was born in Topeka, Kansas, February 12, 1905, and died Wednesday in a Waynoka hospital. He and Opal Ives were married December 23, 1929, at Stillwater. They farmed near Stillwater until moving to the Waynoka area in 1934.

Anderson was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Opal, four sons and a daughter, Bruce Anderson of Harrah, David Anderson of Ophem, Montana, Paul Anderson of Perenjori, Western Australia, Rex Anderson of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Linda Parsons of Edmond; a brother, Everett Anderson of Hesperia, California; 12 grandchildren and nine great – grandchildren.

Waynoka – Graveside service for Opal Anderson, 84, who died Sunday at Alfalfa County Hospital, Cherokee, will be at 2 PM today in Waynoka Cemetery. The Rev. David Shaw of Waynoka First Baptist Church will officiate. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home.

She was born December 18, 1906, at Shamrock to William and Bertha Bunker Ives. On December 23, 1929, she married Keith Anderson at Stillwater, where they lived for five years. They moved to a farm near Waynoka in 1934. She received her teaching certificate and Masters degree in remedial reading from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva, and taught for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are four sons, Bruce of Harrah, David of Wolff point, Montana, Paul of Perryton, Australia, and Rex of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter, Linda Parsons of Edmond; 12 grandchildren; nine great – grandchildren; and 13 great – great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on November 21, 1984.
