Funeral services for Janet Joan Anderson are 10:30 AM, Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Fairview Assembly of God Church with Pastor Charlie Newman officiating. Burial will be in the Waynoka Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Janet Joan Anderson was born September 25, 1939 to Leonard and Maxine (Morrison) Morris in Guymon, Oklahoma. She passed from this life Wednesday, February 20 at the Fairview Fellowship Home.
Janet was raised and attended school in Guymon, Woodward, Southard and Fairview. She married Alvin Fortune and had three sons, Danny, Timmy, and Clayton. She later married Leslie Anderson and they made their home in Fairview, Oklahoma
Janet worked for the Fairview Fellowship Home in housekeeping and as head cook for many years. In later years she did home-care for the elderly. She enjoyed puzzles and crosswords. Her greatest joy was family get together s and spending time with her grand-kids.
Cherishing her memory are: her husband Leslie, sons Danny Fortune, Timmy Fortune, and Clayton and wife Stephanie Fortune and, two brothers; Leonard and Jackie Morris, one sister, Wanda Harrison, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jimmy Morris, an infant son, and one sister Doris Marie.
In lieu of Flowers, the family has requested donations to OMRF – Cancer Division with the Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodians of the funds.
