September 11, 1875 - March 8, 1957

Funeral services for John B. Coup were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 1952 in Stiles Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Union Center Cemetery.

He was born in Heartsville Ohio on September 11, 1875 and passed away in an Oklahoma City hospital on March 8, 1952 at the age of 76. He had been a patient there for about 3 weeks.

John had lived near Dacoma for years before moving to Claremore and then returning to Alva in 1951. Survivors include his two sisters, Mrs. Cora Dawson and Mrs. Mary Geisler, both of Cheroke
