Funeral services for Donna Ruth Terwort will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Donna Ruth Terwort, daughter of the late Charles Eugene and Lois Ruth (Delano) Martin, was born May 12, 1934, in the Aline area and passed away October 7, 2012, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 16 days.
She was married to Jerry Abbott May 27, 1950, and they had two daughters. She later married Lynn Kinzie, who preceded her in death. On June 27, 1964, she was then united in marriage to Leo Terwort in Cherokee, Oklahoma.
They made their home in Alva.
Donna attended the United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She like sewing and crafting and was also a small business owner of the Mode O’ Day Dress Shop.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lynn Kinzie and Leo Terwort, and a brother, Kenneth Martin.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Nancy Lohmann and husband, Eddie, of Enid, and Nieta Lohmann and husband, Danny, of Aline; five grandchildren, Daneece Foth and husband, Cory, of Peabody, Kansas, Todd Lohmann and wife, Jennifer, of Manchester, Sherri Lohmann of Enid, Shawn Lohmann of Enid, and Amy Erikson and husband, Clint, of Tuttle; eight great grandchildren, Cierra Foth, Lane Lohmann, Madyson Foth, Ruston Erikson, Kailey Lohmann, Tanith Erikson, Trent Lohmann, and Trever Lohmann; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Share Convalescent Home.
