Sacred Heart Cemetery


A vigil service for Mabel Bouziden, 88, will be 7 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Rev. Shane Tharp will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.

She was born Nov. 18, 1917, west of Aline to Solomon and Munza Shaddy Bouziden and died Monday, May 29, 2006, at Share Convalescent Center, Alva.

She attended Cedarville school. She worked in various clothing boutiques. In 1959, she and her sister co-owned Ken Motel in Alva, which they operated until 1977. She then purchased real estate in Enid and Oklahoma City, and in 1996, she purchased her first farm. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Oklahoma City, and Alva Sacred Heart Church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Charles Morton Share Trust.
