COLBY CHRISTOPHER BOUZIDEN

Funeral services for Colby Bouziden will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alva, with Father Bala Sagili Jesudas and Derrick Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Colby Christopher Bouziden, son of Chris and Donna (Obermeier) Bouziden, was born January 23, 1993, at Enid, Oklahoma, and passed away September 6, 2018, at Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 25 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

Colby lived all his life in Alva and graduated Alva High School with the class of 2011. He went two years of college at Northwestern Oklahoma State University before spending a semester at Oklahoma State University. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Colby had an exceptional talent handling cattle and was an asset to his family's ranching operation. He loved sports and was an accomplished mechanic.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Sol Bouziden.

Colby is survived by his parents, Chris and Donna, of Alva; two brothers, Clay Bouziden and his wife, Kaitlin, of Alva, and Gage Bouziden of Alva; his grandparents, Norman and Twyla Lancaster of Alva, Fred and Joyce Obermeier of Louisburg, Kansas, and Rosemary Bouziden of Alva; a special friend, Lindzey Ducotey and her daughter, Aaliyah, of Cherokee; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

The family will be establishing a scholarship in memory of Colby at the Alva High School.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the Caitlyn McOsker Love Fund.
