The funeral for Thelma Marjorie Lyon Whipple, 95, of Waynoka, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Waynoka Church of God. John Brint, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Me-morial Hill Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Mar-shall Funeral Home, Waynoka. There will be no viewing at the church.
She was born May 1, 1911, in New Mexico Territory to Arthur Adelbert and Della Myrtle Stone Lyon and died March 16, 2007, in Waynoka.
She married Glenn Alfred Whipple Aug. 11, 1934, in Waynoka. They made their home in Wichita, Kan., until 1946 when they moved to Rose Valley near Waynoka.
Surviving are one daughter, Sharon Sims of Waynoka, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, two sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka Nursing Center or Waynoka EMTs.
