Graveside services for Raymond Jacobson will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Memorial Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Online condolences may be made at http://www.marshallfuneralhomes.com.

Raymond L. Jacobson, son of the late Carl William and Clara Belle (Dimmick) Jacobson, was born July 31, 1950 at Alva and passed away August 31, 2019, at his home in Waynoka at the age of 69 years and 1 month.

Raymond graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1968. He attended Okmulgee Tech. He owned and operated A/R Ready Mix and managed Alva Concrete after he sold it.

On December 23, 2002, Raymond was united in marriage to Janice Bowerman at Red River, New Mexico. He lived most of his life in Woods County. He loved OU football, vacationing in the mountains – especially in Red River, and boating at Kaw Lake, where he and Jan own a home.

Besides his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Bob Jacobson.

He is survived by his wife, Jan (of the home in Kaw City); three sons, Jason Ray Jacobson and his wife Heidi (of Moore), Bryan Jacobson (of Medicine Lodge, Kansas), and Rick Seal (of Alva); one brother, Richard Jacobson and wife Sharon (of Waynoka); five grandchildren, Jakeb Jacobson, Shenille Jacobson, Emily Seal, Ginny Seal and Rayden Jacobson; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Jacobson and Gracie Jacobson; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name through the funeral home to the estate.
