The funeral for Robert William "Bill" Fritsch, 74, of Alva, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elm and Murrow Church of Christ, Waynoka. Darrell Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Way-noka. The casket will be closed at the church.
He was born June 24, 1931, in Alva to Vivian Passwater Fritsch and Benjamin Ora "Buck" Fritsch and died Friday, July 15, 2005, at Share Medical Center, Alva.
He graduated from Waynoka High School. In 1950, he married Vona Campbell at Quinlan Methodist Church. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years as a clerk/operator. He was a member of Elm and Murrow Church of Christ.
Surviving are one son, Teryl Fritsch of Amarillo, Texas; one daughter, Darla Hedges of Waynoka; his mother, Vivian Fritsch of Waynoka; one brother, Thomas Fritsch of Wellington, Kan.; one sister, Mary Lou Stephenson of Virginia; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three children.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Elm and Murrow Church of Christ.
