Funeral services for Danna Dow will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Elm Grove Community Church in Chester, Oklahoma. She will then be laid to rest at the Memorial Hill Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Visitation with family present will be Friday from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
Danna Lea, daughter of the late Susan Lee (Gooch) Brock and Vernon Brock, was born May 19, 1978, at Waynoka, Oklahoma, and passed away March 9, 2023, at her home in Fairview, Oklahoma, at the age of 44 years, 9 months, and 25 days.
Danna was raised and lived in Northwest Oklahoma a majority of her life where she graduated with the Alva High School Class of 1997. On March 15, 2010, Danna was united in marriage to Josh Dow in Fairview where they made their home. She and Josh have been blessed with two amazing daughters, Aydan and Hadlea. Of the various roles Danna held throughout her life working with children in the Fairview Public School and being a stay-at-home mom were the most gratifying to her.
Danna is survived by her loving husband, Josh and her two daughters, Aydan and Hadlea Dow; her sister, Sherri Pfeiffer and husband, Dwight, and their daughter, Madelyn; her father, Vernon Brock; her parents-in-law, Doug and Brenda Dow and LaGreta Metcalf; her brother-in-law, Justin Dow and wife, Kimberly, and their children, Jaden, Ian, and Phoebe; her sister-in-law, Abby Gaisford and her children, Lilly and Xyler; her beloved pets; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Alva Public Schools (checks made to CFO) or Fairview Public Schools.
