Lutheran Cemetery


April 19, 1930 - March 24, 2004

Funeral services for Raymond C. Lohmann, 73, Alva, will be held Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 10 a.m. in the Wharton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark L. Bersche, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Interment follows in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Raymond Clarence, son of Frieda (Dubben) and Joe Lohmann was born on April 19, 1930 on a farm southeast of Alva where he has lived all his life. He passed away at the Alva Share Medical Center on March 24, 2004.

Mr. Lohmann was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Leona.

Raymond is survived by his sister and her husband, Goldie and Harold Meyer of Alva; two nieces LaDonna and her husband Harmon Ellis of Oklahoma City, and LaVina Tyrrell of South Padre Island, Texas; a great-nephew Jeff Ellis of Oklahoma City, a number of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery fund or the donor's choice.

The casket will be closed Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
