ENID - The funeral for Patricia Kletke, 72, of Alva will be 2 p.m. today, Jan. 22, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, Alva. The Rev. Mark Bersche will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.
Patricia, daughter of Bill and Faye Seevers, was born Oct. 12, 1937, in Clarksville, Ark. She passed away at her home on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at age 72 years, 3 months and 6 days.
Miss Seevers attended the Des Ark public school system and graduated from Des Ark High School. She later went on to graduate from Chicago Cosmetology School.
Patricia was married to Jason Kletke Nov. 29, 1970, at Alva Zion Lutheran Church. The combined family includes children, Mike, Alisa, Todd and Robin.
Mrs. Kletke worked at Schuhmacher's Drug Store and also at Merle Norman Cosmetics as a cosmetologist. After her marriage to Jason, Patricia helped with the harvest for many years.
Patricia was a very active member of Ruth's Circle and Alva Zion Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kletke was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Seevers; and sister, Freda Seevers.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Jason; a daughter and husband, Alisa and Verl Sargent; and sons, Mike White, Todd White and Robin Kletke; three grandsons, Nathan and his wife Lacey Gaisford and Tanner White and Parker White; six brothers and their wives, Gene Seevers, Mallory and Janette, Bill and Shirley, Jerry and Sue, Kelly and Melva and Terry and Donna; four sisters and their husbands, Theresa and Dexter Jones, Anna and Jimmy Hollwell, Carla Kay and Chett Greenwood and Diane Knowells; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Alva Zion Lutheran Church general fund.
