ENID — Memorial service for Gertrude Marie Canaan, 83, will be 10 a.m Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, Alva. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva.

Gertrude Marie Canaan, daughter of Auguste and Theodore Lohmann, was born Oct. 11, 1927, in Alva and died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010.

She was preceded in death by husband, Billy Joe Canaan, parents and sister.

Gertrude is survived by two daughters, Vicki and Jan; six grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Young Life Ministries.

Remembrances may be shared at www.marshallfuneral homes.com.
